COMMITMENT


Commitment is a higher form of love. Loving commitment requires daily effort, sacrifice and desire for virtue. Authentic love is given through commitment. 

Lovers who truly value each other are committed to expressing their love daily with their actions, their thoughts, and their loving desire. The soul who loves God with such commitment will rise above the world. 

Nothing will be able to stop the love in a heart committed to God. How do we commit to God? By giving Him that special place in our heart, and in our life daily. 

God has to be first, He has to be the most important relationship in our life, and we must make time to nourish this relationship. The soul who loves God is the soul who is committed to Him. 

Do we really love God? How committed are we to Him? Let's love Him through our commitment. Heavenly Father, I long to love you more deeply. Set my heart on fire with deep devotion. I commit to loving you, forever. Amen.
