A DIVORCED SINGLE MOTHER WROTE

I am writing to you in order to make someone understand that it's good to appreciate our partners despite their flaws. I am 32 years of age.  My ex husband and I dated for 6 years. We where best of friends. I waited until he completed college and started work. My family and his family then met. We got married and had a son. (7 years old now). My husband was short tempered at times but our problems started when I wanted to make him feel he couldn't control me. Every time we argued, I would pack my bags, go to my family and explain. My sisters would phone my husband and shout at him. If he was controlling me I would always dare him that if he wished, he could divorce me. I never wanted divorce. I just had pride and I never wanted to look like a loose woman in his eyes. One day I pushed him so hard that for the first time he beat me and locked me outside. I went to my family, my family took him to the police, every time I looked like I was being abused! But to be honest, I used to...

When Someone Gives Your Girlfriend N500k, You’ll Realize True Love Doesn’t Exist

A Nigerian lady has asserted that true love does not exist for the mere fact that money can easily be used to snatch someone’s partner. She took to Twitter to state that a man would realise that his girlfriend doesn’t really love him. The lady with username @HunchoSamG wrote Make person transfer 500k give your babe first, na that time you go know say true love no exist She’s not your babe na just your turn. Unless you fit double the money send give m lol.” Read some comments below. @mira_dew : Why you shouldn’t date a broke babe in the first place.  @luthershakurr: Some will reject and start acting up you know. All your shortcomings they used to overlook will then become very glaring and too much to cope with. @marshallzugo007: True love exists. Just because you haven’t seen it yet doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Try and adjust this mentality “everybody has a price but sometimes it not about money”

How to Make Your Boyfriend Dress Better

Do you feel satisfied with the style of your boyfriend?   Do you want him to wear something different?   You might choose something more formal.   You might prefer something casual.   You can find out how to change it. Your boyfriend is smart, caring, and funny. He loves you and takes good care of you. Everything is almost perfect.   His clothes.   It’s his clothes. After watching Olu Jacob's receiving his prestigious award, three things came on my mind

After watching Olu Jacob's receiving his prestigious award, three things came on my mind : 1) S3x alone does not keep marriage going. Fiendship and companionship keeps marriage going. The body will eventually get old and you won't have the urge for it. The children you train will eventually, leave and build their home.  It will get to a stage, It will just be you and your partner. What will make it fun is the friendship. You gist together, play together, pray together and many more together ❤  2) Marry a good woman, a good woman is everything. In the video, olu Jacob struggled to stand up, he wasn't comfortable but the hug and kisses from his wife, gave him courage and brightened his mood. 3) Treat your wife and children well because at old age, they will pay you back depending on your relationship with them You receive what you give. Some men tend to spend time with Friends at the bar, workplace and viewing center more than their family . When you get old, most of those fri...

NOW WE ARE TOGETHER

RELATIONSHIP STEREOTYPE: NOW WE ARE TOGETHER   (Part 2) One of the last things I pointed out in the first part of this series is that "Love happens to us all in different ways, and we might find it in the weirdest places. You are allowed to have your preferences but don't allow your choice to blind you from seeing the beautiful person God is positioning before you". Meditate on this for a while. Some people get stereotyped when they are still singularly single, while others who escape this end up becoming stereotyped after they have met the love of their life. I hope you still remember what stereotyping means. In its simplest form, it is about mind programming. It makes you believe what is not generally true about a group of people or certain things in life. . . Some people grew up having a set of expectations based on where and with whom they grew up with. It's not wrong to pick up one or two things about how a relationship will or should be from people you see aroun...

BEFORE WE MET (Part 1)

RELATIONSHIP STEREOTYPE: BEFORE WE MET  (Part 1) One of the reasons many singles who desire a relationship or marriage still don't have it is because of what I call relationship stereotyping.  What is a stereotype? In social psychology, a stereotype is a generalized belief about a particular category of people. It is an expectation that people might have about every person of a specific group.  Another good definition I like is that stereotype is a mistaken idea or belief many people have about a thing or group that is based upon how they look on the outside, which may be untrue or only partly true.  Stereotypes in it's simplest form are about mind programming.  .  . We are in a world where racism is still a thing, and in my own country Nigeria, tribalism is still thriving. Parents stop their kids from getting married to the one they love because of what they believe about a tribe or an experience they had with a particular person from a place. ...

3 Things I Wish I Knew as a Newer Mom.

Let’s call it as it is. Being a mom is one of the hardest and thankless jobs there are. So much is done that no one sees. And how often do people stop to thank you when everything goes as planned?  3 things you wish you knew when you were a new mom ? 1) Change is constant. Change is constantly taking place, both in your kids and in you. Every time you get used to your kids being a certain way they change. Like once you get that infant baby part down, then they start walking and crawling. Some of their first  words are “mama” or “dada” and it fills your heart with joy, then they get older and use words that are… not as adorable. But not only your kids, through parenting, you change. Your body, your emotions, your wishes, and dreams all can (and probably will!) change because it’s no longer about you! Every day is different with its own blessings and challenges. Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8 starts by declaring “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the hea...

Do You Include These 5 Relationship Builders in Your Content?

As you probably remember, relationships build the first pillar of Internet Marketing for Smart People. After all: no relationship, no market, right? We need to have some kind of connection with folks before they’ll pull out their wallets. Sometimes people think that great relationships “just happen.” It’s your mom’s theory of marketing — “just be yourself and everyone will love you.” But you might have figured out by now: no one loves you like your mom does. And just being yourself sometimes needs a little help. Here are five strategic ways you can think about building the kinds of relationships that lead to sales, as well as to retweets, recommendations, and referrals for the great stuff you sell. 1. Generosity We human beings are rather simple at heart. If you do nice things for us, we tend to like you more. Fancy marketing types who have read their Robert Cialdini (and you should join them, by the way) call it reciprocity, even though Cialdini himself actually calls it r...
